Description
Join us for the 8th Winter Acro Festival in Tschlin, Switzerland. We spend a week in the Alps training partner acrobatics, sharing meals, and enjoying mountain life together.
Training
We offer daily workshops and coaching for intermediate and advanced acrobats. We train partner acrobatics, standing acro, icarian skills, and handstands.
Prior acro experience is required. Please check the prerequisites before booking.
Food
We serve organic, plant-based meals. We cook as a team and share simple kitchen tasks. Some people say it's the convention with the best food... don't know about that, but there a lot of love in it.
Snow Day in Scuol
We spend one day in the Scuol ski area at +1800 m. You can ski, sledge, snowboard, or join outdoor acro time. You may also rest or stay at the hall.
We offer a reduced ski-ticket rate for the event.
Rest and Warmth
After training, relax in our wood-heated outdoor sauna. It supports recovery and offers quiet time under the sky. It should feel like a holiday after all.
Accommodation
You stay in a lodge next to the training hall. We offer shared rooms for six people and a few smaller rooms.
Everything is close by. Families are welcome.
Pricing
Your pass includes lodging, meals, workshops, and the snow-day program.
We ask all participants to join for the full week so the group can grow and learn together
Prerequisites
Recommended
The Winter Acro Festival is regarded as a high-level acro convention for enthusiasts, and there won't be any introductory-level workshops.
That said, it's not a requirement to be proficient in all areas of acrobatics. From our experience, what really makes a difference for people to enjoy this week is a mindset focused on having fun, accepting challenges, and learning new skills, not their current level.
However, we still want to provide you with some broad guidelines. If you feel comfortable in any (in any - meaning not all at the same time) of the following branches, you should be well-prepared to participate:
Acroyoga flows: If you can do several rounds of Neutron Starfish or a Perfect Storm, you're safe. Synchronicity is a bonus ;-)
Icarians: Executing Icarian moves from throne to front plank and back should be easy. If you're at a 3 out of 5 level in Castaway, you're safe.
Standing: Some overhead static positions should be manageable, maybe more than just a high bird - think foot to hand, croc, in that direction. Some dynamic tricks should probably be within your capability, like butt down, kamikaze, foot to hand to cradle.
