Description

Handstand Foundations is a beginner-friendly 4 weeks cycle for anyone curious about building a strong, confident handstand practice from the ground up. This class is less about “getting up” fast and more about learning how to train smart for real, lasting progress.

 

You’ll learn the essential physical preparation for handstands, including shoulder stability, core engagement, and wrist care, alongside awareness and proprioception skills that help you understand where your body is in space. We’ll work on improving line and control, explore different entries like tuck, straddle, and kick-up, and - just as importantly - learn how to fall safely.

 

Each week builds progressively but you are also welcome to join anytime with a drop-in class, as we combine clear technical explanations with plenty of hands-on spotting and individual coaching. You’ll learn how to use the wall as a helpful tool without becoming dependent on it, so confidence grows alongside skill.

 

Expect a supportive, focused atmosphere with space to ask questions, experiment, and build trust in your body. Join us to develop a handstand practice that feels informed, empowered, and sustainable.

 Any level is welcome. Individual coaching and extra exercises for advanced.
