Description

Get ready to be proud of yourself for stepping outside of your comfort zone & trying something new!

In this class, we will learn to build a strong foundation for a good and safe acroyoga practice through some playful exercises. You can come with a partner or alone as we will often make groups of 3 or 4 and switch around. You will learn what are the best practices for basing, flying and spotting. The class usually starts with a warm up followed by some inversion exercises, some acroyoga and it ends with a bit of therapeutics (massage or stretches).

Acroyoga is much more than just a movement practice. These four classes are designed to improve communication, confidence and creativity. Our focus is to give you the best tools and learning strategies to get started in Acroyoga. You will be surprised at what and how much you can do even if it's your first time. You will learn techniques that make it feel easy and see how strong you really are.

Benefits of the beginners class is that you will be learning with other beginners and Florence will guide you step by step through the class.

Fun and new poses will come your way!

Classes include:
Coaching in L-basing technique, transitions, flows, washing machines, sequences, inversions, foundations and drills. Flexibility or therapeutics in the end to finish the class.

Prerequisites

No previous knowledge in Yoga, Acroyoga or Handstand necessary.

Toaster

Exploration of partner movement started in Chile, where he was introduced to Acroyoga in 2015. Since then, acrobatics have become a fascination he feels so passionate about he wanted to share it with everyone.
Finding smart ways to build up and overcome new challenges, learning how to support each other respectfully and giving space for individual rhythm, - those are the cornerstones of his classes.
As a firm believer in what jams and strong communities can offer, one of his main focuses is to help build up the acro association in Zürich.
